What the indices support
CBC indices describe relationships among measured inputs, calculated outputs, distribution metrics, differential values, and platelet indices. They support a pattern description and a bounded review decision, not an etiology or diagnosis.
State the analyzer method and result definition, required inputs/units, actual evidence, uncertainty, and next action. Confirm measured/calculated status, RDW definition, plateletcrit definition, intervals, delta limits, review rules, reagent configuration, QC, calibration, and maintenance against current IFU and local SOP before reporting.
