Anonymous question statistics
When you submit answers here, LatticeMLS records one line per question: the question's ID and version, whether your answer was correct, and how long you took. The lines from one submission share a random ID created for it. The ID is never linked to your account or shown to anyone, so no one can connect two attempts to each other or to you.
We do not record your name, email, account, IP address, device or browser details, or the time of day. Your scratchpad, eliminated options and flags never leave your device.
We use these statistics only to estimate how hard each question is and to find questions that may be wrong. Because they carry no identifier, we keep them indefinitely.
Because the lines carry nothing that identifies you, we cannot find or delete them later. If you don't want them recorded, turn off Share anonymous question statistics before you start. The exam works the same either way.
What else is sent to us
- When you start a set, check a practice answer, move on in an adaptive exam or submit, the page sends the set's sealed code and your answers. The server sends back the next question, or the answers and explanations.
- These requests carry no name, email address or sign-in cookie.
- To keep an answer from changing once it counts, the server keeps a note of your first answer to each question, of each question an adaptive exam served and of each scored set, under a code that says nothing about you. It deletes the note after about a day.
With an account
When you are signed in, each question you answered in a finished set is added to your study history, with no time attached, so it counts toward your skills on Progress. The privacy policy covers the account.
