Who we are and agreeing to these terms
LatticeMLS is published by Alexan Berberian at latticemls.org. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Educational use only
LatticeMLS is for education. It does not give medical advice, diagnose or treat anyone, test patient specimens or issue credentials. Results from self-checks, simulators and other activities here are for practice and confer no qualification. All patients, specimens, records and results on the site are simulated. Never enter real patient information anywhere on it.
Acceptable use
- Do not enter or upload patient information or any other person's personal data.
- Do not copy the question bank or simulator cases with automated tools, and do not scrape the site in a way that burdens it.
- Do not try to bypass security measures or rate limits.
Your account
An account is optional and is for you alone. You must be 13 or older to create one. Keep access to your email address and passkeys to yourself, and don't share an account with anyone else: your study history and review schedule are built from your own answers. You can delete it at any time from the account page. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
Content licenses
- Lessons and quick reference guides are © LatticeMLS and licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. You may copy, share and adapt them for noncommercial purposes if you credit LatticeMLS and share adaptations under the same license. The About page shows how to credit.
- Third-party images keep their own licenses, listed on the Credits page.
- The exam question bank and the simulator cases and their text are © LatticeMLS, all rights reserved. Their items may not be copied, redistributed or used to build another question bank.
Availability and changes
The site is free. We may change, suspend or end any feature at any time, and we do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Laboratory practice varies: follow your laboratory's approved procedures and the direction of your instructors and supervisors. To the fullest extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site or from reliance on its content.
Trademarks and non-affiliation
LatticeMLS is an independent educational resource. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the ASCP Board of Certification, the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute, AABB, the College of American Pathologists, or any manufacturer named in the content. Names of organizations, standards, tests and products belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Anki is referenced only to describe compatible decks.
Changes to these terms
Each version of these terms is dated, and every change is recorded on the Content updates page. This version is dated September 23, 2026.
