Scope boundary

For a flagged neutrophilia result, retain the evidence chain: specimen and analyzer context including physical clot inspection; declared source for every differential value; local ANC comparison; quality-smear observations that resolve the flag; and a dated prior CBC when available. This evidence chain does not provide a general differential diagnosis. CBC and smear patterns can support review and routing but do not classify a hematolymphoid neoplasm. Defined local criteria govern any repeat testing, pathologist review, flow cytometry, urgent communication, and referral.
