What learners practice

  • Read tube reactions and gel card columns, with check cells where tube testing needs them.
  • Rule out antibodies on nonreactive cells, minding dosage.
  • Choose the tests that settle what is left: selected cells, enzyme treatment, prewarming, DTT and neutralization.
  • Name the antibody, meet the Rule of Three and type the patient for the antigen.
  • Screen antigen-negative units and choose the crossmatch the history requires.

Open the Blood bank and complete one antibody workup On your own. When the Verification sheet appears, choose Print record and hand in the printed record. Be ready to explain which cells ruled out each antibody and why the units you tagged are safe to issue.

What the record shows

  • The antigram with every rule-out and the cell that made it
  • The treatments, plasma tests and selected cells
  • The conclusion beside what the case expected, with the Rule of Three for each antibody
  • The patient's typing, the units screened and the crossmatch
  • Each gel card read, with its grades

The record stays with the learner until they hand it in. A finished record never changes, so printing it again gives the same page.

How it's scored
  • Seven findings, each met, partly met or missed: reading, exclusions, specificity, supporting evidence, autologous testing, phenotype and units.
  • The score is the share of findings met, with partly met counting half. Efficiency is noted on the full record and never scored.
Accessibility
  • Every control can be reached with Tab and used with Enter or Space.
  • Interface changes follow the site's short, steady timing, and they are instant when the device asks for reduced motion.
  • The full record prints on landscape Letter pages with readable type. It has a blank Name line; the site stores no name.
