A specimen above the measuring range, dealt from case number 1. Any number from 1 to 99,999 gives its own case. The same number always gives the same specimen, order and values. After a student's first few finished practice cases, a case may also carry a bench fault, and the printed record names it.

Doubling dilutions of a patient's serum, read tube by tube, then the titer is reported. The number works the same way as a practice case.

What learners practice
- Recognize a result above the analyzer's measuring range and prepare the dilution the procedure calls for.
- Choose sample and diluent volumes that make the ordered dilution.
- Make a serial dilution and calculate each tube's dilution and the cumulative dilution factor.
- Multiply the diluted reading by the dilution factor and report the patient's result with its unit.

Assignment text
Open the link and complete the dilution at the Dilution station. When the Verification sheet appears, choose Print record and hand in the printed record. Be ready to show how you chose your volumes and how you calculated the reported result.
What the record shows
- The case or series, and whether guided help was on
- The volumes the learner prepared and the readings they produced
- The dilution factor and the result the learner reported
- Each check and the mistake behind any wrong answer
The record stays with the learner until they hand it in. A finished record never changes, so printing it again gives the same page.
How it's scored
- Each step is checked against the ordered dilution and the volumes actually prepared. A wrong report names the calculation mistake.
- There is no overall percentage. The Verification sheet shows each check as met or missed.
Accessibility
- Every control can be reached with Tab and used with Enter or Space.
- The drawing is decoration. Every action has a named control, and every reading is also written as text.
- Interface changes follow the site's short, steady timing, and they are instant when the device asks for reduced motion.
- The printed record uses real headings and tables and prints on Letter or A4. It has a blank Name line; the site stores no name.
