Each case opens in three modes. Guided coaches each step, Practice gives hints on request and Unassisted gives no help.
What learners practice
- Apply the multirule policy to today’s and previous control results, and tell a warning from a rejection.
- Stop reporting affected patient results before working up a rejected run.
- Use the records to choose a fix, and avoid changes that do not address the cause.
- Confirm QC is back in after the fix, and review patient results reported since the last good run.

Assignment text
Complete the Morning QC review at the QC workstation: the guided case and both independent cases. Turn in your printed practice record. Be ready to explain what you checked at each step and how you decided which patient results needed review.
What the record shows
- Which case and case-bank version, and whether coaching was on
- First and revised decisions, with the learner's original and revised written reasons
- A decision for each rerun, and the actions in order
- Scores by decision area and the skills to review
- First and final answers are both kept.
The record stays with the learner until they hand it in. A finished record never changes, so printing it again gives the same page.
How it's scored
- Nine decision areas, each scored 0, 50 or 100 from the first answer: QC decision, QC rules, pending release, error type, investigation, corrective action, patient results, corrected reports and the corrective-action record. The last two count only where the case asks for them.
- There is no overall total. The weakest area sets the recommended next case.
Accessibility
- Every control can be reached with Tab and used with Enter or Space.
- Every value on the Levey-Jennings chart is also listed in a table.
- Interface changes follow the site's short, steady timing, and they are instant when the device asks for reduced motion.
- The printed record uses real headings and tables and prints on Letter or A4. It has a blank Name line; the site stores no name.
