Use the plan as a local operating decision: define its acceptance criteria, controls, review triggers, and owner from the laboratory evidence for this test system.

Before adopting or continuing an IQCP, confirm current jurisdiction and accreditor applicability. A changed procedure, accreditation requirement, or local evidence can require revision.

An IQCP places controls where local evidence says a failure can reach a patient result; it does not authorize fewer controls by itself.
